well SC2BW is already a mod so i didn't have to do any of that.
i do know that to copy and paste triggers from one map to another map/mod they both need to be open in the editor and you need to switch between them using the window menu.
you should be able to copy and paste them then
When copying triggers from old maps, the paste function is unresponsive. I can import trigger libraries, but they don't register when testing the document. The new trigger button itself is grayed out.
Mods can only contain libraries. So you just paste the triggers into a newly created library.
To make a map use the mod's triggers, you need to reference the trigger or add the library into the gameplay data as a library that should be loaded, I believe. It's a setting that is very hidden.
Thanks for the tips guys. After a fiddling around a bit I got it sorted out.
Triggers will not load unless the map you picked has Melee Initialization in it's trigger file (or maybe just if its trigger file is empty). This wasn't working for me because I had taken all the triggers out of the map I was working on and moved them to my extension mod to then apply them back onto the map when loading the extension test. I added Melee Initialization to the original map, and it works fine now.
