I thought I'd make one of these threads cause they're fun :D
Favorites:
Lotr maps: I know its not "one map", but I really like lotr maps. From trop to wotr to south, i love lotr maps because of the immense possibilities (I like games like chess for similar reasons). I also really like the learning aspect of it, and games with all very well-learned players are amazing!
Debates: Aside from lotr maps, I also enjoy Debates, perhaps a little TOO much. Debates to me a unique map where you get to discuss ideas and be social, that's pretty fun. Imo, Debates deserves more attention than it gets, everyone who i introduce to Debates loves it, and admits they would not normally think it to be so much fun.
Doodad hunt, definitely. Lightweight and just tons of fun. Also, 1v1+observer maps are cool - Koth (who I think came up with this) added a renovation to melee play that should've been in the game to start with. I wouldn't be surprised if it will end up being, in the future.
Poker defense. Poker's fun and combining it with some SC2 gameplay is pretty awesome. It's one of the few maps that breaks the barrier of RTS gameplay and maintains a decent level of fun.
Unfortunately the late game gets a bit imbalanced and it feels like you're just going through the motions, the thrill of betting huge pots and having lots of hte line is absent from the game.
