There is something wrong with my terrain editor. I've tried rebooting, and updating drivers. It does not fix it. This bug does not exist in game when I run the map. Just in the terrain editor.
The first picture is what it looks like in-game (and is supposed to look like). The second is what it looks like in the editor.
Noooooo. I'm not talking about the pylon. I just happened to have it selected when I took the screen shot. I'm referring to the texture warping on the cliffs.
Edit: I love that pylon and I love that it shows its power.
It affects every map I open, whether I edit them or not. The problem never manifests in game. This started a day or two ago, I forgot. I initially shrugged it off.
On an unrelated note, I can't get Windows 7 professional 64bit to successfully update to service pack 1. My life lacks all form of cohesion and structure.
Dont install it yet, my teacher got it and it crashed his windows 7. he got really pissed because he thought windows would actually create a good product out of 7. (he is a computer geek [even tho hes kinda cool]) He rebooted his computer so he had to copy all of his hard rive so he wouldn't lose his stuff.

I think you posted the wrong screenshot, cause i only see the ingame ones...
Edit: nvm, you fixed it... uh... You mean the pylon showing its power? I think you can disable it in the view options...
@TheAlmaity:
I just edited it. Sorry.
EDIT: This seems to affect any map I open in the editor.
The 'power grid' is in the actors. If you duplicated the actors check the pylons power actor if you did add it to your unit.
Edit: like in game the power only shows when you build a pylon, building or when you select any pylon

lulz, i have no idea how to fix it....... I can think of 3* suggestions,
Edit: lulz at your pylon comment

Than I suggest my third option only if this is completely bothering you so you can't go on without it fixed.

@Vexal: Go
you maybe have View->Show Terrain->Show hidden Terrain Cells activated
@Thenarden:
Oh, wow, that fixed it. Why is that even an option?
@Vexal: Go
dunno, maybe for better texture eding...
it allows you to view the real terrain, even the invisible hidden cliffs
