I have made a map, and decided to post it in the map feedback place. But I should really have asked these questions first (too impulsive for my own good, lol). How do I make a map available so that people can test it? Is it just to use the publish feature of the editor or is it more complicated then that? How would people find it?
Sorry if my questions are stupid, I am just new, lol.
With the current system on battlenet, it's not so hard, all people have to do it hit "show more" a couple of hundreds time, then create a game and wait about 10 weeks for the lobby to fill up, and then start. Oh, how we love the b.net system ..

While somewhat true, thats not very helpful.
If you want it tested multiplayer, yes - just publish it to Battle.net as a public map. As he mentioned, it will be near impossible to get a full lobby unless you just play it with friends. You can find it by clicking Create Game, and searching for it.
If it can be tested single player, you can upload it to sc2 mapster and people can test it via the editor.
For non pop minded mapmakers it's rather more simple/quite easy:
Publish your map locked (if your map warrants it) or open (under a bogus name to share it with dedicated mapmakers/players/testers you trust, for further testing (or help) without you )
If it's locked people will play it on their own, but will not (unless they are hacking it) be able to access your map
(blizz's locking is only good against people who do not know how to go around it, otherwise it's VERY easy to hack it)
And then advertise/get friends to play or test it
Find a good pop name: short/original/not liable to be used by other maps (derivatives or other)
When directing players to your map, (do say it's for testing)
ask people to type (in the custom games search) : the name (map name: "Go kill millions of zombies", just ask them to type "zombies" (you'll get your map on the resulting front page :) )... don't type "the" or "go" or "millions"... the less they have to type the better (pl are lazy;)) and the map will be found in less than 3 seconds (blizz's function will still feature unrelated names, but it should work if you choose your name with insight)
No testing without testers, gotta go and find/convince/seduce them... you can maybe use the cps for simple bug testing and such...
Thanks everyone. Guess I will just create a game, sit down and wait for, ohhhh, a few weeks.
Seriously, though, I think I need "advertisement" of some sort then, since I have both published it and uploaded a version here. Any ideas :P? Could I announce a tournament sort of thing where people beats each others brains out for fun and at the same time try and find bugs (it is that kind of map, lol, I think... maybe, lol)?

The maps name is simply "Evolution", which may or may not be the best name (was originally called "Natural Selection", but a map was already called that, lol).

I have uploaded it here, the problem is that you cannot play it alone, since I had to remove the AI due to it making the entire game crash xD.

Take care, PsycoticBanana.
