Do we have a source on a definite amount of tribes, though? If we don't, there's literally nothing stopping Blizzard from coming up with as many tribes as they desire.
6 tribes from the Hierarchy, those are the refugees from Aiur and the Protoss from Shakuras. These are considered tribes but keep in mind they may be a little fractured, specially the Nerazim, by culture, not by situation.
Any protoss group outside those is not part of the current major protoss society, like the Tal'Darim. I don't expect Blizzard to come up with other groups we never heard of, that would be lame in my opinion. By now anyone on Aiur should have been already rescued or died, that mission of Zeratul visiting the Overmind and rescuing Protoss from the structures as almost non-sense to me.
There WAS the original Tal'Darim group on Aiur, that was secretly led by Ulrezaj, but I think they no longer exist there. And Blizzard wouldn't use them to avoid confusion, because they are not related to the Tal'Darim we see in SC2.
Boys Boys Calm down !! Is an expansion, we will have 20 real missions and if we are lucky 3 - 4 side missions. Don't expect too much! I did it for HotS and the delusion was Huge :(
Finally the full artwork of the cool toss guy of Blizzcon 2013, dat muscles lol! I think is a tribe leader
Zarxiel told me the names of some tribe leaders :
Nahaan (leader Tribe Ara)
Tabrenus (leader Tribe Furinax)
Zekrath (leader Tribe Shelak)
Dustin Browder on the wiki says that we will use stunning technologies, i fear we will have uber units and tech splits, stuffs like stalkers with 99999999 HP/Shields and 999999999999 aoe damage mwahahahahahahaha
That full artwork is Artanis, or rather Blizzard's redesign of him for LotV. Makes no sense in a design view, given that he already had a visual on WoL. And it makes sense too, if we're ever going to see him out of his Mothership unit. Still, as I recall, the main protagonist was supposed to be Zeratul, not the Hierarch...
@DEFILERRULEZ: Go Retconned isn't the word I'd use. All protoss did receive a design "update" from BW, to make up for the previous graphic quality, and the clothes and armor themselves are probably due to his Hierarch position.
Please Zarxiel read under the picture, don't be blind!! There is written "A R T A N I S" and this is the official site of some of the most famous blizzard artists, so there is not doubt, he is Artanis!
Yes you are right he is Updated, i prefer the SC2 protoss to the SCBW protoss, i don't understand why on SC Legacy there is yet someone that whine about Aldaris design, i don't understand... Blizzard must design stuffs on 90's style forever?? Let's innovate, glory and honor for Heavy Artanis
At this point i don't expect much from legacy other than a protons version of the upgrade scheme. Blizzard knows how many people will buy heart of the swarm (the same people that bought hots + very small random). I doubt they will put a lot of effort into it.

I am afraid of this too...
Things scary is that the long hair blizzard developer of starcraft said the LotV is freezed because SC Team is working on Heroes of the Storm
I watched scbw protoss art, Khalai are muscolous and high, dark templars are stalky and hunched; The same happens on SC2, also if there is some more muscles on some characters.
I mean look at the cinematic model of Fenix, he is high and strong, zeratul and artanis (that was supposed to be a dark templar for the modellers) are stalky and hunched. Same happens on art, the injuried denix art shows us culturist muscles, and art of zeratul a ninja style protoss dark templar. Same happen now, Zeratul is Ninja and Artranis is finally a real khalai and he has huge muscles and high tall, maybe also something other, as torrasque wanted to suggest ;D
So storyline is already finished and they are working on campaign protoss tech... I have faith on blizzard but i am afraid it will sucks like hots singleplayer
As i feared... Tech OP and difficulty zero, great!!!! I can accept it, but brutal difficulty MUST be really hard to do, like WoL and even better more hard, like "you are using a wrong strategy? you lose!" on WoL this happened sometimes, on HotS is a dream
Hold your horses guys. A 'feeling of power' doesn't mean the game will be easy as heck. The only reason it did so for HotS was because the entire thought behind making the player feel 'zergy' was to let them macro and a-move, which was a relatively easy to perform. I reckon the Protoss will feel powerful in the same way they do in multiplayer right now; they'll be able to conjure up a huge ball of death that burns through anything, but this doesn't make them OP by a long shot - if the enemy AI is tuned towards attacking from multiple sides and harassing like a Zerg player would in a ZvP game the difficulty can still be high.
The only thing we know right now is that they thematically want Protoss to 'feel powerful', which makes perfect sense considering the origins and ideas behind the race.
I completely agree. Another way of making them feel powerful is having the enemy armies you fight be massive. I always wanted a mission like in the first Zerg reveal trailer for SC2 where the ground is covered in Zerg.
No it must be harder of WoL, brutal mission are not so hard, they are challenging but not impossible, i am not asking for non-sense difficulties like the two enslavers campaigns

http://www.sonsofthestorm.com/viewer.php?artist=raneman&cat=starcraft&art=22 so this is Artanis, impressive body building! I like that design anyway, also if it's heavily retconned compared to BW, it also looks like the Draenei Paladin as suggested by Gradius http://wallpapersus.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Draenei-Paladin-Book.jpg

I don't think is Artanis, if you see the complete model of his portrait you can see he was more slender and have a cape, this one don't have, you can see the intire figure of SC2's Artanis in this board game: http://www.starcraft2brasil.com.br/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/risk-heroes-only.jpg

Ok. I don't have read it XD, this mean Artanis go to the gym
Tha'ts Artanis? In BW was very slim and now looks like a Protoss version of Garrosh Hellscream from WoW
He is sexy isn't it ? Lol
Of course it is. I wish I had born as a Protoss female only to be engaged with Artanis :D
@TheTorrasque: Go
creepy.....

@DEFILERRULEZ: Go Nooo! It needs to be harder than HotS but it can't be harder than WoL's brutal or I'm never going to finish all missions! =P
@DEFILERRULEZ: Go
So, technically, the story is finished?
Oh, well... Here we go, HotS all over again...
One question, though? Will someone send a spy and this spy happen to leak LotV ending?
