How do I find a general unit type in the Trigger editor?
I have a "specialMarine", and I need to use it as the condition or selected unit type to trigger an action. The editor is only letting me find units placed on the map. WHERE THE FUCK is the selection for a type of unit rather than specific unit.
where it gives u a list of units on the map theirs buttons at the top of the screen, functions is what you want. also this is general chat, remember to put ur questions in trigger development. you will get alot more help there.
"specialmarine" is that a unit that is created at the start of the game?? If so, do "set variable" to it right after it is created, then you got it under variables when you go to triggering unit. I think??? Just getting rolling on this stuff!!

setting a variable means that you can point to that unit in the future. so if 10 min down the line you need to call upon it again you can.
