Might just be me, but I kinda like starting on large projects with a slim chance of getting done, cuz I get satisfied by seeing an idea in my head come to life, even if I don't complete it, it lightens up the moments that come while working on it. Some might call it a waste of time, but I've come to see that even if I don't finish a large map, I always end up having learned something new.
@Eiviyn:
No, actually on page like 27 when I was searching for something....did that a couple times yesterday. Need to stop doing that heh.
@Nebuli2:
Yeah I checked it out last time you recommended it to me. The version I played was just about unplayable. Went to your site and it looks amazing....just wish is in more of a completish state. My statement was more meant towards ORPGs that are completed or further along. Maps like tal'darim, Templar RPG, Valhalla, Braxxon....while good maps and lots of work went into them, there is no innovation, just the same old stuff. Kinda feels like the F2P mmo's out there, same stuff with a different look.
It's a well known fact that a really decent ORPG is impossible to make due to restrictions and limitation. Instead of changing things and innovating to make something truly amazing that will work, map makers stick to a poor design and we get 20 ORPGs that are just about identical.

The version on BNet is only public so that all the members of the team can see the latest versions whenever they want. We're hoping to get out an alpha version soon with a few quests, about 30 abilities (they just aren't into the published map yet), and a dungeon.
