If want use Thor Collection Edition Model in game, you need download Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/?5h4cnzwp515ij7x for StarCraft II and replace your patch in directory:
"%Path to Game Folder%\StarCraft II\Versions\Base15405" replace "patch.SC2Archive" file before backup him.
It will work on 1.0.3 enGB game version, another version not tested (i think game language has no reason).
I have made it for all :)
THIS IS FOR STANDART USERS! you dont need BUY CE!, understand? i REPLACE IT
what you mean not understand, this is ThorCE Version, and replace patch you get it, and you only can see this model, but if all ppl replace model - all can see that model)
whre is available, maybe available for CE users but not for standart
@karawasa - he means in ladder games since it actually patches your game to make it look like you bought CE, not in editor where everyone already has access to.

Besides, the CE is there for a reason. I guess Blizz will probably scan with Warden for stuff like this and in the worst case kick you out of the game for a few days or hours.
1 Person says it just changes your Thor Model on your computer (locally), and another person says that it patch's the game to make Battlenet think u have the Collectors Edition.
Which is it?
Your game obviously already has the CE Thor Model in it's game directory already, or you would not see it at all, CE or no CE., so unless this does something crazy, then it should not be 100MB
then lets increase the size of ghosts and templars to make it easier to kill them. blizz doesn't recognize the difference between one model change and another
That actually wouldn't do anything I don't think. I'm pretty sure that all the collision detection, damage calc, etc. is handled server side to prevent tampering. Though I haven't looked into it, I'm just assuming that this is the case as it is with many (most?) other online games. ;)
Collision, damage etc is handled locally. But the game permanently synchronized values with all other clients to prevent server splits or arbitrary modification.
And actually I'm interested in bone's idea - because I think that unit highlighting is directly tied to the model and not to a data value. So if you changed, say, the ghost to a larger model then it would probably really be easier to click. It wouldn't change collision but it'd still be a much easier target.
Whatever that is, putting a non-blizzard file into the game directory put you a high chance of being recognized as cheating/ hacking. The only problem is whether they enforce that or not yet. And yes, that model is local only, not sure if you will see everyone's thor as CE or not
The CE thor was already ingame, and that's why he can put it on for us but bigger ghosts and templars are not so battle.net wouldn't let you play online with it as it changes the game to a patch it doesn't recognize.
The CE thor is against the rules and only you can see it making it worthless.

No, you don't. The model is available to anyone already.

I apologize then, my mistake!
Jeez 108 MB... anyone tried it yet?
only you will be able to see the model, everyone else will still see you using the normal model, unless they themselves patch the game...
Besides, the CE is there for a reason. I guess Blizz will probably scan with Warden for stuff like this and in the worst case kick you out of the game for a few days or hours.
@Gorandor: Go
it's the same like wow. modeledits are not allowed, but blizz is most likely unable to find them.
don't know is sc2mapster is an offical fanpage or such a thing... this is against blizzards rules
So whats the Verdict on this?

it should be locally. if other people are able to see your CE Thor is set in your account and not your client
I recommend not to use this. very high chance to lose your account.
This is only a local cosmetic change. Nothing to be afraid of :)

Seems to me like it's identical to model editing in WoW. I'd delete this thread if it were up to me.
Warden is not yet activated, so this should be safe to use FOR NOW. Only you will see the CEThor, others will see it as a normal Thor.
