So this is a shout-out to, well, just about all of you with otherwise awesome published maps on Bnet.
Please. Please. Please for the love of all that is holy - make sure your victory condition has the score screen disabled. It serves no purpose for non-ladder games other than to be something we have to load (and usually WAIT for to load) after every. single. game.
I could be jumping right back in and playing your kickass map again, bumping its popularity...but no, I have to wait. 10, 20, 30 seconds; sometimes longer. Every time.
So next time you upload your map, please make sure your victory trigger says "End game in victory for <blah blah blah> and DO NOT show score screen".
Iirc, replays are "autosaved" for a limited time frame and you can then choose to permanently save them from your in-game replays menu (or by moving them out of your unsaved replays folder in the game files).
I imagine anyone who's particularly concerned about saving their replays would be only minorly inconvenienced by this.
I already disabled score tracking on my map to hopefully give a tiny boost to performance. But I will have to remember to also make sure the score screen doesn't show.
Well my computer doesn't suck. And even that's unnecessary imo - in the same regard as people should be using a 5 second lobby countdown instead of 15-30
No, you can't. The ability to join a game is greyed out for the same duration of time as it would have taken the score screen to load. I've tested it multiple times and it ONLY happens if I do not wait for the score screen to load first.

I think the real problem here is that you are smoking some amazing shit.
...but if it really is the case that nobody else is having this issue except me, then I'm willing to entertain the possibility of it being a technical issue :P
I'll test on a couple other connections and machines, then.

It takes me a second to locate and click the multiplayer button, another few seconds to load the Join Game list and double click the map of my choosing (thankfully on the first page), 5-15 seconds waiting to fill, and 5 seconds lobby countdown.
So I'm in the next game already in under 30 seconds. No problem here.
PS: I have a lot of problems with B.net 2.0 greying out the play button and taking forever to load stuff, but leaving the score screen to join another game has never been a problem for me.

+1
I can always queue for another round by just clicking the Multiplayer tab and immediately clicking Join Game to bypass loading the score screen. Been doing that forever. Not that the score screen bothers me to begin with.

I'll make sure to take note of this. What about saving replays though?

Its really annoying when I play a game, and I can't:
A.) Save the replay (I know it "autosaves")
B.) Invite people to a party
C.) Look at peoples profiles
I disagree.
Good to know.
Never once used this feature without first adding someone to friend list.
You need a score screen to do that?
@Chiquihuite: Go
You should always go to the score screen after games, so that it records win/loss/leave correctly.
@Mephs: Go
For what purpose? I mean really, aside from it just showing up in your played history on your bnet profile (which is purely cosmetic).
It's extremely annoying to have that extensive delay while the score screen "loads" after every game and having no way to skip it.
If it's really that valuable, perhaps it's time to start petitioning Blizzard to make it skippable on an individual basis?

He means that on the score screen it lists the players, making it very easy to look at their profiles or invite them to your party.
In light of that I will consider leaving the score screen if not recording data doesn't break it.
I really don't see the insane lag after a game ends you talk about. At MOST 3-4 seconds.
P.S. My Computer sucks

Standardization and best practices, really, nothing else.
You know you can skip the score screen while it's loading by clicking the "Multiplayer" tab at the top, right?
