I've got a question: where do I put the map files that I download here on SC2Mapster if I want to play them in Starcraft 2? It seems that there isn't a directory where you put maps like in the old Starcraft and Warcraft 3.
I have noticed that Galaxy edit does create a "maps" directory in the install path. It seems to stick maps there that are tested by the editor, and I don't know if the main starcraft2.exe will see the path or not. It's worth an experiment, unless someone has already tried this.
So how does one play them ON battlenet? I want to download and play Hell TD 0.22, but Bnet only has 0.21. There is a download on here, but I dunno where to put the map, or how to launch it. I wish to play it with a friend on Bnet, not alone.
Right click the map, and use the open with function. Then look for the starcraft 2 launcher and enjoy :)
Is that any different from opening the map with an editor, and then selecting "test map?" If you can't access the maps from within the game, through some directory or list, it feels like your circumventing the rules set up to govern custom map usage.

Thanks in advance

Upload it via editor.

I've tried publishing the map I downloaded (Hell td 0.22), but it said "cannot publish".. It was due to an error that had no explanation.
Edit: Got it to work!

Well you won't see the maps layout. So you while be suprised when you play the map.
