I turned off the fog. I don't think I've ever seen these before, and there is no corresponding doodad/unit in the area as far as I can see. But certainly not a tree.
They're from one of the char doodads. Some tunnel thing. I noticed if you leave the map open for a while they would build up and fill the tunnel or whatever it was.
They're bugs. Quite literally, really. I've had them in my map before. I kept working on it and somewhere along the line they disappeared. Never saw them in-game.
It's either some kind of Blizz easter egg, or it's a bug with a doodad of some kind.
I was editing my cliffs at the map bounds when I saw these. I don't think they correspond to any doodad/unit I am familiar with.
@hawkerhurricane: Go
Looks like vegetation.
looks like a plant either foliage or tree
In retrospect I realize this would not have been readily apparent from the screen shot, but these are moving. They look like insects.

Spiders? In my Galaxy Editor? It's more likely than you think.
Additional generic bug joke.

I deleted all the Char doodads and they're still there.

"I deleted all the Char doodads and they're still there"
they might still be the result of using the char doodads... just persistent z easter bugging gifts
maybe copy pasting (without the doodads of course) on a new map would make them disappear...
awful maybe, but it seems to be buggin u
