From what I've heard, Chinese SC2 has a monthly fee business model, maybe they just have more money to spend on this.
Wow, that's pretty strange..... I'll ask one of the devs next time I get a chance, it'd be awesome to have those features on the US/EU sites. I'd be interested to know if the Chinese community has a higher percentage of players using the arcade.

I've complained about this, it's like talking to a dead horse. Speaking of a dead horse, the website really is a dead horse. It does not move, it may have meat left in it, but soon enough, it will decay. We need to move out of this website. We have to find one with real map listing, better assets listing, better forum functions and better servers... Maybe a friendly tutorial section that helps newcomers, I've actually became a mapper through TheHelper's simple but awesome WC3 tutorials five to seven years ago.
This place is a mess.

It's just the price model in China (and I believe there was a pay-to-play model implemented in Russia as well).
yeah I like the interface and look of it, reminds me of http://www.sc2win.com/ which is for replays but if Mapster could get such a change... including the section for maps displayed as you mentioned. Like it was said above... someone needs to talk to Curse or else.

Today i went to the Starcraft 2 chinese website and look what i saw
Map section on home page http://sc2.163.com/home/
and Arcade Section with info on maps... http://sc2.163.com/maps/
why dont we have this ?
Because this website is run by Curse and they have no plans to improve this website?
i mean it would be awesome to have something like that in the official sc2 website xp wasnt talking about mapster ;<
Then I don't know, that's actually strange why only the Chinese SC2 website has it.
