The data is all done, what I need is help on interface and cracking down Heroes Lib (heroes is completely programmed in galaxy/trigger editor, it barely uses any hardcoding other than very specific to natives to communicate with battle.net.

The thing is that in order to create a good infrastructure for people to make Heroes Maps and cinematics. We need to set up a working heroes engine within Sc2.
I think it is safe to say that he was implying to the HoTS project exact copy, which would make sense. That being said, using HoTS assets (models, triggers, various systems) to implement in another projects is still okay.

Is blizzard gonna make an official asset pack for hots? As atm everyone is limited on the size of 150 mb in their uploads while hots models are big in size. I'm asking this as I never saw any official statment from blizzard on this.
Because Heroes of the Storm is commercial, recreating it 1:1 in SC2 would allow people access to gameplay content or experiences they would usually have to pay for or at least play a lot to have access to. Blizzard will not permit this because the map will be directly competing with them.
It would be useful if there could be official Heroes of the Storm asset mods and maybe some of the data or triggers used by abilities. With proper linking these could source from Heroes of the Storm installations to save disc space.
Once can just hope that in this new era of mod and mapmaking, Blizzard will release assets packs from WoW and Diablo 3 too, eventually. Having 150mb purely for custom models and assets would be nice. Or just increase the size limit.
I just hope nobody is STUPID enough to try to make the same. But if Blizzard could just release a Heroes mod it will be super EXCELLENT. The models are a must have can care less about the DATA part or triggers cause me are always make them our self s.
PLEASE BLIZZARD OR ANYBODY MAKE A MOD JUST FOR THE MODELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmn pretty much beause Core files can't be modified. I just tried it and couldn't get it to work :(.
Nah I just changed the .StormLayout to .SC2Layout using some basic shell scripting.
The problem I have is overriding the Core Sc2 Layouts.
