Pitfall: Pawn via CTRL + Right Click no longer works. I can make a unit to pawn just fine via right clicking the item, dragging it to the unit, etc, but absolutely won't do it the fast way any more. Been playing with the Quick Pawn settings in the inventory for the hero and the shop unit, no luck yet, although can disable the attempt from ever happening. And yes, all units have pawnable: enabled.
Solution: Dunno yet, if you know the answer to this one, love to hear the answer!
This can only be caused by your own actor event config.
Check your actor events again.

Check my map from page 3 Renee, please. The impact model of the Archon's ability (damage nearby units at melee range) and Buff Impact model of 1st warhound ability doesn't show up. I have only blue-ish lighting but the particle animation not appearing.
Could you plz check it, maybe this is local problem and i need to reinstall the game from scratch?!
Also, do you know why the "Transfer" flag in launch missile effect doesn't work anymore? Maybe it requires some additional setup before use?

For the Transfer flag. I believe it is broken since 2.1.11 or even earier?
In short: The glitch occurs with SOME models (primarly with models created using printIns blender m3 addon) on other doodads and units as soon as you put the model onto an actor that is currently placed on the map (be it a doodad or a unit). As soon as you remove the model from the actor, the graphics turn fine again. The glitch also disappears again if you simply remove all units/doodads from the terrain that have the bug-causing model.
Ive found out that it has something to do with textures beeing assigned to the model. If I have no textures at all assigned to the model and export it, the bug does not happen. It doesnt even have to be a custom texture for it to break, if I simply export it with the texture path set to a normal SC2 texture, it still breaks.
Possible solutions (not tested yet):
Importing/Rexporting the model using another plugin, probably the official Art Tools would work best, but I currently dont have access to those
Assigning textures using texture ID system (never tried that)
Otherwise, fixing the blender m3 plugin, but only PrintIn can do that

Pitfall:
You can no longer select or highlight units while your mouse-cursor is hidden and as such currently cannot use events like "unit selection - Any unit is selected by player" or "unit selection - any unit is highlighted by player" while you have a hidden mouse cursor.
Solution:
None so far, Blizzard probably needs to fix this.
This is a huge problem for me seeing how "Psionic Warfare: Total Destruction" relies heavily on this mechanic. Pls Blizzard fix it.
Pitfall Position of camera target for player is not being updated anymore (or not even close as frequent as it was used to)
Solution: depends on the situation
on a site note, everyone who gets an error showing the boss bar, go to text editor - styles - create new style from template, use BossBarTitleTerran and name it BossBarTitle. no more error.

i could think of workarounds with status set on the casting unit when ButtonHoverOn, so every splat is being destroyed (with a delay to give ButtonHoverOff a chance) if the status is ON. but ofc that would be, sort of , dirty.

It's not a bug, they make it similiar as Dota 2 and HotS works. There is some option to turn it on/off but sincerely, i have no touched this one yet.
What's also kinda annoying is the extra steps to switch regions while in game, for checking arcade reviews n such. Now you gotta log out, change region and log back in. Before you could just open your menu and switch real fast.

I've created an ability from scratch. It simply does not work. The actor events are perfect and as they should be.
The fact that they were working before the patch obviously shows that there is now an issue with action actors, specifically the impact map.
Or, may be not so perfect.
It's a snipe ability.

I checked your map, and it seems indeed have impact model.
If this white lightnings are the impact model you mentioned. It may be casue by some graphic setting then.
Have your tried rename or remove \Documents\StarCraft II folder and try again?
Also I suggest you to remove C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment and see if it works.
Plus, have your tried the official units? do they also lack impact models?

Well, at least impact models work for you giving a hope that it's my local issue.
I'm 90% sure it's not a local issue.
I've just replaced all my old action actors with model actors.
Tedious, but it's what works.
Can you try to disable the spell checking in the editor settings? Blizz added spell checking in 3.0.
Pitfall Shadows and textures are affected by custom models

as you can see on the screenshots, the selfmade hat causes some strange behaviour

Pitfall: Many (about 3 outta 4) attachment points have been changed to "$origin" ect. This causes an error.
Solution: Manually change hundreds of attachment points to their intended values.
Pitfall: Every search filter has been reset to "blank"
Solution: Manually set hundreds of search filters again.
