Yeah I am so down, I have a super fun arcade style map called Baneling Scramble already up and published (check it out and see if it's worthy)
And I am currently in progress of another map that is ever so close to being completed.
I will tell you when that map is ready - only one bug to work out, but it's a difficult one
that's just it though. I made almost 0 attempt to promote it when it launched (six months ago) but I think that could be used to the advantage of this map-of-the-week system. In the mean time I've moved on to bigger and better things. I'd consider going back to tagcraft and adding a map pool/more features, etc, if blizzard would improve the forced latency of custom games.
22 people isnt that bad actually. Lets just pretend each of us stays for one day 24 hours in the lobby of MotW, then that will bring us already on page 2 or something. Ofc, not all of us are in one region.

You can expect a lot of people to not help. It always happens, it's normal. 50% of the list might not be there on the release date to play the whole day. That's why we need a way more people :)
I'll try to help I guess. The best day to do it is on map night days. Look at Mafia. That got lucky by a pop reset and then getting on map night which probably boosted it a lot and there were others in the channel who didn't get in probably getting randoms in general or custom chat channels to play and it just rose.

Wait a minute. It is enough to create a game with AI, open to public, start and go away, right? Of course with restarting once in a while.

Curse PremiumI humbly submit tagcraft to this cause.
I have to make a couple tweaks to improve performance, but the map is polished and awesomely fun/addictive.

I'd like to sumbit my map MageCraft. I have the game ready for Map of the Week.
We need more people to help us promote the MotW. 200 people on that list and we can boost any map to the 1st page in half day.

Yeah that should be enough. To be sure, don't wait longer than 1 hour for a restart. At some point you will be kicked out of the game.
