I think it would be cool if SC2 Mapster added a system kinda like facebook has where when someone else posts to a thread you posted on you get like a reminder. This would be helpful because I often cannot find the thread I posted on, and to know if anyone has posted on it.
Simply using the Hiveworkshop forum settings will solve all of these problems. It's an awesome feature set mapping community forum and it works really well.
Well, unfortunately, I dont think we`ll see any real upgrades/changes anytime soon. Remember, our forum software and tech on this site is all borrowed from Curse. So, modifications of any kind would most likely take fairly longer(if at all).
Still, even with the numerous problems/bugs/etc , I think mapster is one of those places where the most important thing is the community. You can have the best forum features and stuff, but without the right people , it just isn`t the same, and I think thats definitely what sets us apart and keeps this site going. I find this site "cosy", despite bugs/lack of features etc;p

At least now we get updates for PM's....But I just put any topic start on my favorites bar and check it every time I start my internet browser. But yeah sc2mapster > the rest of the internet.
Why do we have to suck the nipple of Curse so much? Who actually owns this domain? Who is in charge of these forums? Is it really that hard to get something like IPB or vB.

I already get spammed by sc2mapster. :P
Every day I get tons of emails called "Moved Thread"
90% of members got same problem. This probbly caused people to lose interested in doing anything with anyone over this forum.
I think we need something like "active topics" or "recent threads", in a separate page.
Ain't hard to program, and could even be the default option for the search engine when searching by date.

Still waiting for any of those to happen...
I find myself in the exact same problem.

Yeah, same here. :S I wonder what's going on. Maybe Sixen is too overloaded with something. *shrug*
@Shendoo2: Go
