I don't know why so many people are disappointed with the HotS ending that was leaked in December of 2010...I thought it was just fine, so long as they change some of the dialogue lines. (This is justice!)
Yeah, it sucks that we had it spoiled so early on and Blizzard didn't even lift a finger to change it while there was still plenty of time left, but it's not that terrible, either.

It's pretty much the worst thing I've ever seen, personally.

My reasons:
1- Raynor helps Re-Infested Kerrigan with her invasion, having a whole population killed by the swarm one more time.
2- Mengsk simply waits in his room, with no backup plan or escape route.
3- Mengsk has a kill switch on her? And he expected it to work on an infested organism?
4- This kill switch apparently works through a clone in a tube???
5- The whole 'now the zerg can be the good guys' philosophical crap.
6- A viking cut in half as if Kerrigan's body were a ninja sword.
4- This kill switch apparently works through a clone in a tube???
Wasn't that a flashback that indicated that the kill switch were implanted into Kerrigan while she was 'activated' as a ghost, that it was Kerrigan in the tube, that was my assumption anyways.
@SheogorathSC: Go So you mean that was implanted by the Confederacy and Mengsk never removed it? And if so, that the Confederacy never used it to kill her during all the years she worked for Mengsk? I'd like to see that explained.

I always assumed the same.
I guess we'll better understand when the game ships.
1- Either Kerrigan has a truce with Raynor (they did in the past, remember?) and she can't kill any civilians, or Raynor never agreed to anything, he just happened to be there when Kerrigan comes in to save his ship (objective in the final mission), returning the favor shortly after.
2- I don't think he expected Raynor to show up and he actually thought he could kill Kerrigan with the kill switch, only requiring her to get close enough to him so it could work.
3- Why wouldn't it? Easy to explain lore-wise, it works on a certain psionic signature. It's also possible it was re-implanted after Kerrigan was de-infested.
4- What SheogorathSC said.
5- I really don't think this is what it implies, especially after seeing the HotS trailers and ads. The Zerg force Kerrigan to re-infest herself it seems, and she seems to get quite conflicted, angry and violent, like she was in BW.
6- She has psionic powers and her wings are pretty ridiculously powerful.
@AlexO6: Go
1- Watch the Vengeance trailer: Raynor isn't happy at all that Kerrigan decided to control the Swarm and go after Mengsk.
2- He didn't expect Raynor to show up? You mean he thought the Queen of Blades would come absolutely alone and the kill switch would work 100%? That doesn't sound like Mengsk, not even a little.
3- Re-implanted? No, for that read Flashpoint. If he had a chance to re-implant it he would have killed her already.
4- We will have to wait for that one, the clone in a tube theroy is absurd, but Sheogorath's doesn't sound as a good alternative to me.
5- Yes, I don't mean she can't destroy a viking. The problem is it was cut perfectly in two halves like if cut by a warp blade, or a lightsaber? ;-) Blizzard always portrays the zerg as extremely destructive, Kerrigan with her 'wings' isn't different. Those wings would tear a viking to tiny bits, but not in a clean, straight cut like that... the scene made me remember japanese animations, when a character passes by its victim, and only after some moments the victim dies (usually with enough time for a prolonged conversation).
Apperantly Sarah was implanted with a neural inhibitor by the Confederacy but later when she was found unconscious at the Fujita Facility by Mengsk and brought to the Hyperion sickward it was, according to Uprising, removed and a number of cybernetic implants were left...

I don't think that was a problem, the clean cut is only shown in the draft video, with existing model. They could have made it better with cinematic.
About why they didn't lift a finger to change it, I personally think the Mengsk Palace is possible the best place they could stage an ending cinematic. And the scenes werent that bad if all the little details are explained in the campaign. The early leak is bad for both Blizzard and the fans.
Here are the images that show what the achievements are, just in case you guys didn't see them on TeamLiquid. It appears that invading Korhal is indeed the final part of the campaign, and that we will play missions with the Hyperion.
I love all the references in the achievement names.
Nice pics, I didn't see the categories before ('space missions' etc)
Anyway it looks like Brood War all over again, it's going to be kind of uncomfortable watching everyone help Kerrigan destroy or partially destroy Korhal.

I hope there are some unlocked unit skins for beating the campaign, those are my favorite :P.

What is? The whole thing? Why?
Hope can't go very far... can it? ;-)

Guardian and devourer are bound to make a comeback. Their missiles were in WoL.
Let us just enjoy the game when we get it
