In a few days, we’ll begin patching StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty to version 2.0.4, which will bring a number of new features to the game—features that all players can then immediately begin enjoying together.
Wings of Liberty 2.0.4 includes:
An all-new user interface with new menu screens.
The launch of in-game Clans and Groups.
New Replay features, such as Watch with Others and Take Command.
A multitude of Editor improvements.
New matchmaking options: Training Mode, Vs. AI Mode, and Unranked Play.
Players Near You, so you can find other StarCraft II players on your local network.
New customizable Observer UI.
Other enhancements coming with patch 2.0.4 include a revised help section, new game privacy options, new group sounds, and language selection (in some regions).
All of the above improvements will also be included in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. When the expansion is released on March 12, players who upgrade will be among the first to experience the new campaign, new multiplayer units, enhancements to existing units, the new leveling system, new multiplayer maps, new tilesets, and new rewards such as skins, dances, portraits, and decals.
The background download for Wings of Liberty patch 2.0.4 was activated on February 9. We strongly encourage all players to leave the launcher running for an extended period of time at some point over the next few days to ensure that you’re ready to play when the patch goes live.//

guess i had to fix them eventually.
It's not the first long maintenance they do... this pay still not be the new patch, besides, there was never info when such patch would be added to WoL, only that it would be added. It will be very useful for the Editor - I still use WoL editor, will wait for HotS release to get to the new editor even though I have Hots beta.
What do you think will be brought to the editor? I hope for some more triggers or better made data where you don't load all the needless stuff, can barely load when too many numbers and fields. OR ofc 'Search' window for theText Editor? - That would be about time..
While it is fine for the Editor, I don't see a reason to play Melee, they never touched Zergcraft ala Infestor there..

Well actually I KNOW there are a few new things that weren't in the beta, Such as a trigger to force player options. such as simple command card.
Put it into your WoL installation folder, start it and switch to the advanced tab. There you need to enter "enSG" which is important to make the launcher actually load the patch.

- my text preview is not bugged anymore (buggy in hots beta)
- data module shows tooltips on win8
- dialog labels can have an "automatic" color now which makes it use its text tag colors (like in WoL 1.5.4). Other color options enforce that color in the whole label overriding color tags within the text.
TODO to fix your maps from hots beta to 2.0.4:
- Set every label's color from white to automatic

A new preload Info dialog has been added for defining game data, asset files, and banks to be preloaded in-game. This is accessible from the Map/Mod menus in all modules.
So we now get to choose what gets preloaded. O.O Fuck yes

And HoTS DID change Infestor its no longer what the zerg army is based around :P.

AHHH that makes a bit ore sense :P I LOVE Melee in HOTS, Skytoss is my favorite, but zerg Hydra + Swarm Host is fun too.
