You need a program called Casc View, which everyone links to me every time I ask a question. A google search for Ladik's Casc View definitely brings the page up as the first result.
Anyway, you can find the directory by placing the unit on your map to see its name, then opening the data editor and looking at that unit. Click its actor and the graphic file will be listed among a gazillion other pieces of info in the right panel. If you already knew its name, then all that was unneccessary.
Then open the Casc View program, you go to Starcraft's data folder, it will be in one of the Blizzard's main wings of liberty, swarm, or void mods. Probably check wings of liberty ones first. Look around until you find it and copy it somewhere handy. You may have to close out starcraft and the editor before casc view will work.

Anyone know how to locate a doodad file? I'm trying to find the monorail track doodad because I'm planning on editing it on Blender. Thanks
