it's really interesting and with interesting i mean annoying how every patch makes starting sc2 more and more time consuming. first of all when i start the sc2 launcher i can't start sc2 because it has to download encoding tables with several mbs, which takes 30 minutes for my 385 kb/s connection and that EVERY fucking time i start the launcher. next, once the PLAY button is available and i press it the game has to connect with the streaming server (!) downloaing AGAIN some shit where nobody knows what it is doing nor does it say what it is doing and why that takes another 30 minutes which drives me crazy and NO it's not downloading anything else, just starcraft
now i got a replay of friend showing me a bug in my map. i copy it to my replay folder, try to watch it and what happens? i have to fucking download it again, mods map just everything which i uploaded 3 hours before. it was really bad before but now it's just annoying, it's just fucking annoying.

Yes, game companies just assume you have 100Mbps links with uncapped download these days. Even for those of us that do, the above is STILL annoying.
for all of the ones who are bored of it, double click on a replay will start sc2 - login - leave replay - login again, which is still faster than using launcher.
would be great if any guro could tell us the parameter needed to pass to the sc2switch in order to start sc2 + login as the launcher does.

@FunkyUserName: Go
And that my friend is why I always have my battle.net launcher always open. The play button is always available.
Still alive and kicking, just busy.
My guide to the trigger editor (still a work in progress)
