This mod does not appear when I look at the mods that are currently in the game, but doing into the dependencies menu.
Ok so you know how when you click publish without logging into BNET, it lists all of your dependencies and tells you that they can't be accessed? (Because you aren't connected to the internet) Well, this mod shows up there, and I don't know what it is. I think it might has something to do with why when I try to publish, I always get stuck at "Transmitting Archive File".
Right, but does anyone know what it is? Because everything have looked has has indicated that the errors I am encountering have to do with teams clashing with the game variants, which they are not. (I have switched everything back to default)
So I was thinking that maybe this was a mod that is created when teams are formed, and somehow stuck around even when I reverted the teams. I was thinking that I could try and delete it, but I can't find it anywhere.
I only know that it changes from 1 to x depending on the number of players.
I think it's internal to the map file itself. Anyway, you shouldn't have errors with game variants, they're pretty simple and straightforward o_o. Editor is mad, I guess.
it happened to me and i did get peeved trying to fix it (euphemism i quit my mod after a day and nite trying to fix it and re tried a week later since i was poe ed by then) ... then ended up scratching it altogether (GGGGrrrRRRR)
sorry
i think its an internal dependency you get added when something went wrong with your mod at publishing stage..i never managed to fix it.. (i'm not the smartest drone in the pack off course so it might be fixable though, but i did try pretty much all the things i could think of to fix it)
galaxy seems to be a pro at interconnections, to a fault.. it generates shit that you can't change (or can't find or access) once it has been generated
at first i thought it was an issue with the different templates you get at the start, but now i'm unsure (several patches having changed that since)
like so many things in this awe some editor, it seems once you did a false move : you're fucked.. have to chalk it up to experience and never try that shit again on an "advanced" map/mod, just on empty worthless copy/saved templates till you get it to work, and then (cross fingers) try and apply it to a copy of your "advanced" mod.. and hope it works
