everything is tedious because of some hidden code that i can't figure out by just default user interface. I don't know how everything is handled internaly, BUT the funny thing the editor demand this knowledge to make things that work properly. So even simple idea turns nightmare most of time because the thing that you set up in your head that SHOULD work obviously won't work as intended at first implementation.
i tell this: if you want something more than firing missile then youre in a lot of trouble.

The editor is definitely designed with Blizzard's team in mind and everyone else as an after thought.
Oh man. They finally got around to adding at least some documentation to the editor. I started way back in wol beta and that wasn't there for years. Of course I don't know what "Editor Documentation" they are referring to there. As far as I can tell most of the editor has no official documentation beyond one sentence snippets like "Changes unit's attack" and the official tutorials.
Also, that UI editor is just one of the many editor improvements that blizzard promised and never delivered on, just like star tools. At this point I wouldn't hold my breath for blizzard to add something that big to the editor.

Still, just sort of weird you can't copy and paste without xml.

So we kind of have to decipher things on our own.
UI would be so much easier if Blizzard ever finished this feature from the HotS beta.
You mean like this?
I love the cheeky mention of "editor documentation" there.

UI and visual polish.
In general, everything that requires lots of interactions and restarts of the game.
