I wanted to let you all know as soon as I heard. I know we talked about a 2 month window but something has come up that was unforeseeable and as a result, we'll need to take down the PTR environment this Thursday, March 5. We're going to try to bring it back up the following week (March 9th) but there is a chance it will be pushed back to a later time or it may not come up at all before we release the assets to the live servers.
Please make sure to save your work and if you haven't tried to publish or do any online testing, try to get it in before Thursday. Otherwise you may have to wait several weeks. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
hmmmmmmmmmmmm.. Zero respect for the map makers once again. At Least tell me that all what i have been working on isn't screwed over. My map depends heavily on the official war3 blizzard data mod in addition to the asset mod. Can you guarantee it will work once it goes live ?

It's not out of personal interest or lack of respect. There's been an issue. It's not a lack of respect for firemen to extract people out of a house if the house is on fire.

No they cannot, however once it goes live you can fix any compatibility issues with the release version of the mod.
You should even still be able to use the mod for development, just not on BattleNet as there are no servers which support it.
The release version of the mod is likely almost identical to the current version. Only a few things (if any) could get changed and in that case you can fix them anyway.

Seriously?
Traysent lets us know as soon as he knows and you say he/Blizzard has no respect for us? Come the fuck on mate.
Come on people, Blizzard is a very busy company with a lot on their hands at the moment. A PTR is not some old computer running on a desk somewhere that people use to run FPS servers or whatever, they are pretty massive servers (although small compared with the live servers). They are already running one for Diablo III, be lucky we did not have to wait until that one ended for a peek at the mod.
