I've been changing the default camera distance to start at 40, ever since.
Graphics look nicer, feels less cluttered, and less heavy on the eyes.
What do you think? Why not use 40 as default for custom campaigns?
Whatever you do, wholeheartedly, moment by heartfelt moment, becomes a tool for the expression of your very soul.
Can you give image example of the difference?
Yea, give us a screenshot to compare. Maybe your discovery is about to start a revolution in sc2, or maybe even in all gamedev!!!
hehe. Well, it's not that much, like magically things become HD! XD but it does help quite a bit.
Here's some shots from Gradius' new map. It's at 32 vs 40 distance.
The next two are at 40 distance from WoT: Awakened Evil
You can somewhat feel the difference when in-game than in the screenshot I suppose.
The difference is tiny in screenshots, but maybe in-game it would feel even better. Even so, the 40 screen looks nicer.
I have been using it since having it set while playing Mass Recall. XD
Maybe I start using it from now on. What is it? A trigger which modifies the camera range?
Cameras can be defined in data and then applied to a player. However, there are triggers to directly modify the current applied cameras properties (distance, target, fov, and so on).
Camera work is hard but heavenly <3
