Just wondering because at the moment I type this the whole first page of general chat and off-topic forums are filled with spam bot threads. Would be nice to be able to delete them. Reported one of em to draw a mods attention for now.
really ? What are the requirements to be a Mod God in this site because SPAM since to be an everyday day thing and stays first page for more than 5 hours and another takes hold delete and another one for another 3 hours. So! Are Mod sleeping all day or timezones? How about when somebody creates a new account not to be able to post in a few hours cool down period!
I think a lot of people want mod powers, but I don't think straight up asking will work? I think I remember a thread where they talked about becoming mods
Spam actually rarely stays up for longer than an hour. The ones that had been up when this thread was created were up for 2 hours at most, probably shorter.
Part of the issue is that even when threads are deleted, they still appear under the "Last Post" section. The best solution would be to fix the website such that that is not a problem, but we all know that isn't going to happen.
On a serious note; mods are usually picked from long-time contributors to the site whenever additional ones are needed. None are really needed right now. All in all the position doesn't mean much, though; we mostly just delete spam threads, ban spammers, and sticky/desticky the occasional thread.
Mozared knows my terraining tactics so i can say that i been under his watchful eye for more than a year he can tell you that i can take you anytime on terraining at lighting speed. And for the "NAKED, WITH OILS" well...... thats something to find out! As for Or a Terraining-battle, of which you stand equally INSIGNIFICANT CHANCES!!! that I can say. :-)

This might actually be fixed. I just deleted three spam threads and they're also gone from the main forum board. Not 100% certain though.
