I have been stopping by here and there despite my current inactivity in the starcraft scene, but late at night I cannot help but notice some bots that come around and spam the forums. Not only do they spam the same thing over and over and over again, it is not even in the same language (usually some ad for some social media thing after google translating, then a bit of research and web digging I did on a particular one).
I was curious if there would be a process by which we could purge these little buggers or if the mods would just have to deal with them as time went on.
When you go next to the profile picture of said spam-bots, there should be a couple of icons appearing. One of it says "Report Post". This would be the easiest way to contact us about these posts.
I dont know about any other automated process, so I guess we have to do it all manually. Therefore help would be greatly appreciated :)
Lately bots have gained a sense of self awareness and are very interested in Starcraft 2 mapping. Unfortunately their core programming only allows them to communicate in the form of viagra ads and kitchen remodels. While they're trying to ask us simple questions like how to create their own hero units, it comes off as not much different than a richard simmons infomercial. Unfortunately people aren't willing to try to break past the language barrier, so I'm afraid they'll be discriminated against for a long time to come.

Just curious, thanks for reading :)

True, over the last few months we have seen a massive spike in bot activity.
