I was working in the editor and decided to download a game demo through steam (I hate steam with a passion). As soon as I logged in to Steam all the colours of the terrain in the SC2 editor went hayware. They're all light now and don't show any shading. The textures themselves seem to be lower resolution. I thought it was just a temporary thing, but I've since restarted my computer and turned off steam and the problem persists.
Has anybody else had this happen? Anybody know a fix? In-game everything looks normal, but it's quite distracting to have everything look so terrible in the editor.
I had a similar problem once, but it did not affect all graphics in my editor, just 2 objects, which went all bright and shiny. Also, it affected the generated map preview when publishing the map without an explicit preview file.
For me, playing around with the editor graphics settings fixed the problem.

No shading and low resolution textures sounds like low graphics settings to me.
