For my custom campaign that I’m designing, I have a Terran base with units, structures, and doodads. The user player will visit this base and then leave to a different area on the map. The player then returns to the base to find that it has been attacked and taken over by the Zerg and everything has been infested and “Zergified”.
I’m sure this can be done any number of ways, especially through triggers. I have a few ideas but I don’t know what is best.
1) Design and place everything for the infested base and mark each and every object with a point. Then delete it all and design the initial base. Then create a trigger that occurs at the desired time and removes the initial base structures and doodads and spawns all the zergified structures and doodads at the previously created points.
OR
2) Design and place everything for the infested base and set everything as hidden. Then design the initial base on top of the zergified base. Then create a trigger that occurs at the desired time and removes the initial base structures and doodads and sets all the zergified structures and doodads to unhidden.
Or is there an even better/easier way to accomplish this?

Hi. Infested terran structures need "Colony Infestation" behavior to add visual and gameplay effects. You can do this by triggers or data.
Hi,
I think number two seems like the best way, good luck
