Greetings iv been playing with this and googling for while and have tried, Enabling campaign AI for player 15, Enabling Melee AI for player 15. Giving player 15 APM. Enabling suicide for the last created unit and then setting all player 15s unit to global suicide. and a few others
I had my units attacking targets via : Unit -Order (Triggering unit) to ( Attack targeting (Position of (Closest unit to (Position of (Triggering unit)) in (Any units in (Entire map) owned by player Any Player matching Required: Armored; Excluded: Self, Resource (Raw), Resource (Harvestable), Missile, Item, Dead, Hidden, Invulnerable, with at most Any Amount)))) (After Existing Orders)
But I was hoping for something more robust (Having a simple AI move everything seems better than everything just attack moving about the place), As if I'm the target and I cloak the units chasing me still want to finish the order and attack move to my location.
After reading the description this trigger sounds great but it just not functioning at all a lot of the topics iv found are very old and the solutions iv tried have not worked. If this trigger is broken ill just go back to my old setup. But if anyone knows how to get it working or something I am missing that would be great. Cheers Dan2172
Not entirely sure what your goal is or what you're making... You can try out the campaign ai and using attack waves . If you go to my project page for Mapsters, check out the triggers for mission 6. The player has an ally Commander, and I change the allies primary target based on conditions.
