I made a number of display labels for the faction select screen I was building. The problem though is that, these labels are showing up for everyone when triggered. I would like to know how I could only display these labels to a person who clicks on such and such a dialog. I don't see any section under them allowing to specify whether it is shown to all players or just the triggering play.
If it is not possible to do this using screen labels, I would like to know what might be another way to do this.
Most dialog items actions have a player group associated with who they are shown to.
For example with labels you can turn the displayed text to a space ( ) for certain players or something completely different. The show/hide dialog is player specific as are Set Dialog Observed Type, Set Dialog Item Text, Set Dialog Item Tooltip, Set Dialog Item Image, Fade Dialog Item Transparency, Set Dialog Item Border Visible, Set Dialog Item Border Visible and many more. You often just need a for each player loop followed by a If Then Else action.
