I'm thinking of making a virus ability (Parasite) from "Caster" player into "Area" (AoE search) Or Targeted unit ///// the other would be a plague, if a unit gets too close, melee attacks, or plagued unit dies the enemy units around death unit infects enemy units 50% chance, and allies 10% chance.
My Idea for this I don't know how to set it up but -- ==================================================================
Ability name - Virus (Parasite) Active or Passive Attack Type - Target What it does - Infects unit / (A) 15s / (P) 4s
Behaviors / Effect - Takes damage overtime // Unit dies spawn (unit) ================================================================== 2nd - Plague (4 r ) AoE / Death / Close Combat(1.5r) - Similar to Warcraft III Abomination Chance of infection Death (AoE) 50% (Eny) 10% (Als) (BHs) / (Eff) - Takes Damage overtime // Unit dies spawn (unit)
For the first ability I would use an Effect - Target ability that uses an Apply Behavior effect that applies a Buff behaviour. The buff then has a periodic Damage effect and a damage response on defender with the fatal flag enabled that uses a Create Unit effect as the handled effect.
For the second ability use an Effect - Target ability that does a Search Area effect that uses an Apply Behavior effect that applies a Buff behaviour. The buff then needs separate damage and death responses filtering melee type Damage effects for the damage response. The death response uses a second Search Area effect while both the damage response and search area use a Set effect with two Apply Behavior effects with different chances that are validated by the player alliance.

Ok for the differences in time you would need to use the Effect: Duration field of the Apply Behavior effect to extend the duration time.
