The melee option, Enable/Disable resource splitting doesn't seem to work to me.
I have read through some forums on here and found the function, tried it out, and I can still access the resources from a player who left the game on my own character.
I haven't seen a workable solution for this yet besides going in and creating manual trigger functions to regularly subtract minerals each time a player gains them.
You can try using the "Set Alliance Aspect" action. You can put in "resource spending" as the option which may work well for you under a player leaves game event trigger.

The problem is. I still want to be able to spend the "left players" minerals.
but not have it pooling into his/her allies.
