I am kind of new on this forum and i was wondering if you could help me, i wan't to disable the upgrade ''piercing spark'' for all player when the Very Hard difficulty is selected.
I've tried many ways and nothing worked :|
I was also wondering how to increase the level cap to 50. It is 30 atm, i tried adding 20 levels on the behaviors named ''levels'' and changing the ''gainxp'' trigger to:
Probe level < 50
instead of probe level < 30
Here's an idea for your upgrade problem: Create a new upgrade called "Difficulty." Set the max level to the number of different difficulty levels you have for your map. So for example, if you have 5 different difficulty levels, you would set the Max Level for your Difficulty upgrade to 5.
Now create a requirement for your "Piercing Spark" upgrade. It can be in either Use or Show, however you want to go about it. Create a condition for the upgrade, making it so that it requires "Difficulty" (the upgrade you just created a moment ago) to be less than its max level (5 if you're using that many.)
Go to the ability that purchases the Piercing Spark upgrade (like the Research ability or whatever) and modify Piercing Spark under Info+. Set the requirement to the requirement you just made.
When your players choose the difficulty (I assume there's a dialog menu for this or something) have it set the number of upgrades of "Difficulty" to the corresponding difficulty level (1 for very easy, 5 for very hard.) Now save and test to see if it works.
As far as your leveling problem goes, I'm not sure why you're having problems. You might want to post your trigger so I can get a better look at it. I'm not aware of any arbitrary level cap for veterancy levels but I'm not an expert on that sort of thing - you might want to take that question over to the Data forum.

the 50 was a 30 before i changed it.
