Would it have to be the same exact players as well? Or could like the 2nd map be hosted later on with a different group of people and everyone still have their stats with a different team?
As in host are you referring to the map maker? Like if the same creator created published both maps it would work from one to the other or do you mean the actual person where it says "HOST" in the lobby?
Sorry, I meant the person who uploaded the map to the game server. The same map uploader/creator would have to publish both map. If one person published MapA and another published MapB, then it would not work.
Zantai uploaded and created ZHRPG. He has separate maps for each episode, but he can load the data that a player got from his first episode to his second episode.
In map 1, after they win the game, save a boolean "WinMap1" as true onto the bank. Then, on map 2, at Map Initialization, you can load WinMap1 boolean. Next use an If-Then-Else. If it is false, use the End Game action on them.
Was more asking if it could be done not how to. Good to know though thanks :D
I take it there is no way to detect this from the lobby? To save people having to re-host due to retarded people joining the map who haven't beat map 1?
As far as I know, triggers can only be ran when the game has started, so I don't think there is a way to prevent people who has not beat Map 1 to join Map 2. I could be wrong, so if anyone has additional info, post it. It would be interesting to see how Zantai would approach this with his ZHRPG if there is no way to detect.

Is this possible to do with sc2?
I know you can save your stats on certain maps where it saves to your profile on the map. Can this be exported from one map to the other?
Yes. I use this in ZHRPG. As long as the same person hosts all connected maps, this is viable.

Bank files are shared in between maps if hosted by the same person. MapB can use the bank files which a player has achieved using MapA

Ok right on. This makes me really happy.
My other question then, is can you prevent a player from playing lets say map 2 without beating map 1?
