I'm quite the novice with the galaxy editor, so forgive me if I'm not using the right terminology.
But I am trying to make it so whenever the "sell" button I made is pressed, the effects of pressing that button (running a trigger) happen repeatedly, or happen with a brief cool down.
I couldn't find anything in a search, so can anyone who knows help?
in trigger events specify your button (player presses key: x). you can specify a number of repeats in your actions, and by placing a wait action in the repeat queue you create a delay that represents your cool down. also, there's a "wait for conditions" action that will check the truth of a statement before running the action remainder.
Thank you so very much for replying! I'm anxious to test out your approach but I don't quite understand (I am very new to the galaxy editor).
I understand the "specify your button". But what do you mean by "the repeat queue"? I know it's a lot to ask, but can you spell it out for me? (it'll help other people searching for how to do this)
To help clarify, the direction you need to be looking into is loops. By the "repeat queue" he is talking about an action called "repeat" that allows you to put in how many times you wish it to repeat as well as includes all the indented actions you want to repeat within this actions loop; however as he also said there are several versions of loops all of which can do the same things but in their own way. While loops will repeat as long as the conditions set are not met afterwards moving onto the next set of actions.
