im making a survival map and i need to know how to put a timer that counts up from 0, into a timer window and show it in game. It will just be like a timer that says, "you have survived" and then the time you have survived in the window. also, this is not necessary but it would be nice, i would like to know how to put that time that you actually survived in the victory panel, like a new box that says Congratulations! you survived- (time here) and then they can try and beat their scores.
you CAN do that with timers. I know for sure. Dont loose hope! I just cant remember exactly how. I'll edit this in a minute...lemme open galaxy editor and take a look.

aha, here we go. You use triggers. Create a variable of type "timer" and one of type "timer window". Add the action "start timer" and set the first value to your variable. Set it to expire in some ridiculously high amount of time like 999999999. Then use "create timer window". Make sure you set it to use elapsed time instead of remaining time. As for your death screen saying "you survived X time"...Not sure if you can do that. However, you could make it so when you die, BEFORE the game ends, you show the time survived in a pop up dialog box or something. I attached an example for the timer.

I don't think you can do that with timers, but you could just make a dialog with a trigger that updates it once every second.
