I've poked around looking for a way to do this myself, but I'm not aware of any method that works. The problem is that there's no way to get the current date from within the editor. If you had some kind of 3rd party program, you could modify the bank, but that would be extremely difficult to get players to download seperately & run (and probably against the ToS).
You could always ask players to enter the date, of course, and then save it as integers or strings. But I doubt that's what you're looking for. :/ That said, if anybody else knows of a way to do this, please chime in ^.^
You could re-upload the map every day and manually set the current day as a variable.
Then check to see the difference between the manually set variable and the one stored in the players bank is.
Kinda heinous, and definitely hardcore but it would work.
This is an ongoing issue, there is no time or date functionality on battle net, This means that unless u follow AstralCV's method the only other way is to ask players the date, and hope they don't lie (i guess u could lock them out of the game if they did). Hopefully Bent will add support for this.
The goal was to do some kind of quests where you have to come, let's say, 2 or 3 days later. The map would not be very long to play, but it's kinda distributed on several days.
A pretty title explains everything.
Is it possible (even with a horribly hardcore way) to save the current date in a bank ?
I guess not, but... 'better ask.

You can also record game play time.
It's possible with 3rd party program, which will record date in bank file. In game your map reads date from this bank file.

Well, okay.

@KorvinGump: Go
make a program to update the map with proper time, it would be very popular to all the mapmakers.
