Hello, i saw some post about the infested building already, but i coudln't find a solution with them, so here we go again.
I want my terran building to be like in the " infestation " mission of campaign, so i choose to put like " infested barrack, can be infested ", but the building look like a normal barrack. I don't want to have to build virophage nearby, or anithing, is it possible to just have the building like it at start ? Or i need a trigger for he become infested at start ?
I'm not sure to be in the right section for it, i hope it's ok !
There's an infestation behavior that you apply to infestable buildings (these are specific unit types, like infestable barracks, not the regular barracks). Giving them the behavior will give them all the infested tentacles and stuff.
As for making stuff look infested that normally isn't infested, I did experiment a bit with this before. The best method I found was to use the "attach model to unit" action. Then look for models with infestation as the first word, and see what looks best attached to that building. I attached the command center infestation to a mothership for fun :)
@Saaranir: Go The infestation is controlled by actor events and these are fired by the Colony Infestation behavior. It is possible to change it so it starts with whatever you want. As one example in my mod I made the infestation start with an upgrade.
If you want additional buildings or units to behave lthe same you will need to edit their actors.

I see, it's weird there isn't a barrack available with already the behavior, but i go try use it on every buidling thanks :)
Maybe it's possible to change the model of the infested barrack, wich look like normal barrack, for a model where it look infested
