I'm trying to do custom scripts that are name specific, let's say I want to just make the game say hello to me, but only me if I play, so anyone else would not be said hello to, or anything else I want it to do, I'm trying to use custom scripts for conditions, but I'm not even sure if I can actually do that. The way I'm trying is a string variable, and the variable is "PlayerName(1)" and the fuglypump is just a value.
We can get the name of the player, HOWEVER, we can only get it in the form of "text" we cant compare "text" with anything, not even other text... so the only way you can make it do something just for you, is to have a value in your bank.

Seriously?
Auuuuuuuugh, the restrictions of SC2 are growing more apparent by the day.
Do you know if you can at least set player names? If not, disappointment will be extreme.

Events
Game Initialization
Or -> Conditions
PlayerName(1) == "Fuglypump"
PlayerName(2) == "Fuglypump"
PlayerName(3) == "Fuglypump"
PlayerName(4) == "Fuglypump"
PlayerName(5) == "Fuglypump"
Actions
End game for player (lol not really)
Hmm... tough one. Maybe the function "Name of Player" could do what you want?
Seriously.. at least try to look before you ask.

what do you mean set player names? the players name is their ....name =P
The current issue with "text" we THINK will get fixed later... its really odd they dont have a text -> string, though they have a string -> text.

I think he want to set computer player name. In blizz's map they set it fixed in player properties so I guess no.
