Since patch 1.5.2, my maps have been lagging badly when played online. Framerates drop sharply for most (not all) players, making the game unplayable. There are no trigger errors, it does not appear to have anything to do with unit preloading, and I can't get it to lag when testing locally. Anyone have any ideas about how to find the issue? Has Blizzard just slowed down the trigger engine?
Well I have heard people having problems with maps they made before 1.5.2 some get corrupted and weird unexplained things have happened due to this patch for maps that were made before it.
if its serious frame rate drops it might have to do with.... grafics.. too many objects in game.... clip planes being set too far out.
I have my map which runs a shit ton of code on a 0.0 periodic event... Runs perfectly fine.... The maps been in development for over a year easy and runs just fine.

Thanks for suggestion. Already gone through this and also tested turning off entire chunks of triggers. It does not appear to be related to triggers. I think SoulCarverr might be onto something with the gfx. Unfortunately, being a trigger guy I'm not sure what to do other than re-apply all the data changes and triggers to map after saving fresh in 1.5.2 editor. I'll report back when I find time to test that.

Have you tried turning on the debugger and checking which threads/functions are taking the longest to execute?
It might give you a clue as to where the latency is coming from, and you can work on optimizations from there.
