I am using show/hide UI frame, in the UI section. The text reads " <hide> <Alert Panel> for (<All Players>) "
The part of the UI I want to hide is the unit info panel, the one that shows the units hp and tooltip info. The problem is I cant seem to find it in the list. So is there another way of doing this?
Below is the list of available UI frames to hide. Am I just missing it? I made the list for anyone that wants to make sure I did my due diligents... Im just stuck.
-------
Achievements Menu Button, Alert Panel, Alliance Panel, Battle UI, Cash Panel, Character Sheet Button, Command Panel, Credits Panel, Error Display Panel, Help Menu Button, Hero Panel, Inventory Panel, Menu Bar, Mercenary Panel, Minimap Panel, Mission Archive Panel, Mission Time Panel, Objective Panel, Planet Panel, Purchase Panel, Research Panel, Resource Panel, Room Panel, Supply Frame, Team Resource Button, Tech Glossary Panel, Tech Tree Panel, Tip Alert Panel, Victory Panel
I think it's Character Sheet. I'm sure I remember hiding that and being disappointed that it only hid the text and not the frame itself. I'd have to check to be sure though.
I have tried the character sheet, that was actually my first guess then I looked closer and it says 'button' which isnt what I want. So after trying most of these, I came to the forums for help. I will keep checking back to see if anyone has a solution. Thanks for trying tho.
Sorry for bumping this up but I don't want to create a new thread for the same topic and "BasicGear" asked to post if anyone knew something.
I used the Function "UI - Hide Frame for (All Players)" and chose the one for the Help-button (F12?).
Now it works when I test my map, but since it says "This function can only be used for maps from blizzard" doesn't it work when I publish the map?
Or is it somehow restricted?

If im not wrong, this part of UI is locked by blizzard and you won't be able to hide it individually.

very few parts of the UI we are allowed to hide, a lot of them have a note saying "only blizzard maps can hide such and such"
