I am trying to add a behavior to the hero units in my map my adding a behavior containing the upgrade when they level up a tier. However, it seems to be having trouble picking the units and I'm not sure why. The debug below does not show. Here's what I have:
I put debugs in the trigger that adds the units to the Hero unit group and I am completely sure that there are units in the unit group. For some reason though, it will not pick them because the debug shown above does not appear.
Where do you set the hero group? Are you sure it is filled the moment you try to access it? Also, the bottom trigger uses Last created unit, which could be invalid at the moment of execution. Try to print the unit count of Hero and the names of the units in it.
i tried the player one too it did the same thing the other one did. The integer seems to work a little better since it showed me the debug but it still wouldn't add the behavior even with the behavior (player) action
Also, I know that the unit is added because i did an if then else and put if there are 2 units in hero then send me a debug and the debug showed.
Hi Fishy, not sure what exact problem you having with this, but have you tried assigning 1 hero unit to 1 unit variable, and applying the behavior to said unit using that variable after 10 seconds have passed or something simple like that?
Next I would attempt the same thing, only using your group to pick units.
Then finally I would attempt to use it for your level up or upgrade or whichever.
This should help you in tracking down where your breakdown is occuring, as I can't see a clear definitive issue causing it from your said description.
It's showing because you're running the loop against predefined integers, in the 1st example, you're trying to run it against a unit from a group, if there's no unit, it doesn't run, but the 2nd example will always run twice.
so now I guess i have a few data questions since the trigger seems to be kind of working. Do i need to set the duration of the behavior if i made the period 9999? i also put the effect under period effect. Is this right? Also if i put -.75 under life fraction, shouldn't it reduce the unit's life?

You can also use the Add Behavior (Player) action, if there is no source unit.

@fishy77: Go Fishy, can you please paste the triggers where you populate the Hero group to http://peeeq.de/gui.php?game=sc2
That site will give you a link, just paste it in your response. It formats the text to look like the GUI editor.
Once you do that I'll check it out and we'll get this figured out!

This is what I use to add it to the group. It seems to be working. what isn't working is the pick units and add behavior part.
I tried your link and the code it gave me to copy didn't do anything when i posted it to this.

I tried assigning each hero to one variable each and it still will not give them the behavior.
Edit: I tried this and it added the behavior :) but the behavior didn't apply the effect :(

As I said, paste the link here, like so http://peeeq.de/gui.php?id=3074
Then we can click the link and see what it actually looks like.
Ill check it out and reply soon.

It is fine now. the behavior is being added with the new thing i posted above. Now the behavior just isn't applying the effect i gave it.
But here is that code i posted above http://peeeq.de/gui.php?id=3079
