So I made some buttons, yeah, I know, I'm pretty pro and all, but I got a question! :(

So, say I wanted, for some reason... to make these buttons do stuff when clicked.

I have made 3 buttons thus far.
Menu
Log
Help

You see I'm trying to completely replace the in game UI with my own, and for now, I'd like to know how I can get these buttons to do their titled commands when I click them. Menu would open menu, and log would open... you get the picture.

I've already made the buttons, I just need them to work now.

To clarify, dialog item buttons or the other kind of button, called screen button I think?

The action selection box just like this forum has a search box to help narrow down what your looking for. Try key words like menu, help etc.

You need to tell us more about how you're making the buttons.

Alright, allow me to clarify.

The action to make my buttons is a simple one, dialog display button "1" "button name"

I want my buttons to to as their titled, one to open menu, one to open the log, and one to open help.

Just a little bump.

So you want these dialog buttons to do what the built in buttons already do, since you're replacing the UI.

Again please put some effort into it and try using the actions search bar.

I'm pretty sure there are some tutorials in the wiki on this topic. If not, find someone's map that has a custom UI and is open to all and look through their code. Gl
