I remember there was such trigger in sc1 editor that made units wander pointlessly in random directions - each in different one. I dont remember how it was called, btu it was great. I think there is no other way to achieve such effect... I have tryied kind of issuing orders to patrol to random points on the map but then all units were sent to exactly same "random point". :S I could divide map for smaller regions and send units randomly between them but it would generate heavy performance loss im affraid :S
DO you know some other way to achieve such mindless wandering of monsters?
I will have to look into that. I currently have a trigger set up for a unit to move targeting a relative point near it's current position. That does the trick but I'd rather the data editor handle that for some units.
Personally, I don't care much for the built-in "Critter Wander". If you'd like a bit more control over how your units wander, you could do something like this (of course, add a condition that excludes any unit you don't want to wander):

You don't need triggers.
Data Editor, give the unit you want to wander, the behavior "Critter Wander".
I think this is what you're looking for...? It's what all the critters in the game do.
@Puged: Go
Thanks i will play with that today. :)
