Ahahaha! Neb, i love that thing. Really love it lol, the laser is awesome! Reminds me of the shark from James and The Giant Peach (Youtube it if you don't know it, it's bad ass.)
@ScrinKing
Wanna see yours now buddy :P Different variations on the LAZOR SHARK lol, mine's a lot less intimidating, looking like it might be a secret terran warship or something, Neb's is a doomsday weapon haha, and now we gotta see your interpretation :P
Done. I spent more time on the rocks, water, corals, and trees (Mainly the water, there was some bug that didnt let me change it, and I never fixed it, so the water looks awful) than I did on the shark.
I like it, but you make a classic 'error' I think; I've tried using rocks as a bottom to place stuff on before, but the problem is it'll look really unnatural if you've got plants and trees growing right out of solid rock. Try adding some kind of grass around the area - if not with textures, use the vines doodad or maybe even bushes with a low Z axis. Something that makes it look less... unrealistic?
Should add a few root doodads at the base of where the tree interconnects with the cliff face (the palm), just enough so that it's just touching the water.
I'm pretty sure that plants that grow out of the cracks in rocks would have their roots sprout from them.
Vines are a different story though; Blizz vines don't look too great on solid rock even if you alter the dimensions.
I agree with Neb, having spent many, many months in fairly arid conditions, small plants are the only thing that will grow on a rocky surface. I agree that the trees out of solid rock would have to be carefully managed, that is very hit and miss depending on how he presents it, but the concept of sparse plants growing on rock is a sound premise.

We need to start making laser sharks for every WTE from now on :P
We should discreetly put sharks into each WTE. Tired. Sleep now. Make tomorrow
Damn you youngsters and your sharks sabotaging my WTE! Back in my day we didn't have sharks, we had fish with teeth! Uphill, both ways! In the snow!

And it rained platypuses.
Hm, I'm having some trouble with this...

Any eyes? :P

Nah, it's a blind shark. xD

Ahaha, I enjoy that, a lot. One of those ridiculously deep dwelling sharks with no need for eyes lol.

Hmm... I reckon plants growing out of rocks could work. It does happen in real life. Plants grow out of the cracks between rocks.

The plants were meant to be growing through cracks :P And the trees should've been growing ontop of the rock - but there's no roots doodad afaik

There are actually, Bel'Shir Cliff Roots. They're just hard to handle because of their shape, but they can work if positioned right.
Haha I couldn't help myself :P Mine deosn't look as alive as some of the others but still thought it was pretty cool :P

XEL'NAGA SHARK? WIN.
