So I don't know if this is just me, or something caused by a setting but since HotS (or at least, I don't remember noticing it prior to HotS) None of the ground decals show on the lowest cliff level, but splats like Terran Tarmac and the HotS Road doodads do... anyone else have this problem/know a solution?

Use a Model type actor as an attachment?

What exactly do you mean? I mean I know how to do basic Model Additions... but how does that help in this case?

Sometimes changing the actor type also affects some of its properties.
In the worst case you can always retexture the zerg aoe cursor model.
