As you may have noticed, I have not been posting much recently. I have, unfortunately, grown somewhat tired of the whole sci-fi theme of Starcraft, and haven't been inspired to do much with it. However, I have recently re-found the old Warcraft Model Library, and have been fiddling around with it. I am growing quite fond of it, and hope to do more with it in the future.
I am also disappointed with SC2 as a game, although I am interested since 2006 in the sci fi more than in the fantasy. But lately I start coming back to fantasy a lot and I like mixing the two, so needless to say, I am interested in both. And I feel like playing war3 than SC2 as a game, so this is so nice seeing warcraft them, quite nice terrain. Somehow even better than what I see in sc2's terrains! (some of them)
Eh, I'm not sure I'd say it looks a whole lot like Stromgarde. The keep model for this is very similar to the model used in Stromgarde, though the majority of the inspiration came from Minas Tirith, with the terraces, minus the rock jutting out the middle.
The terrain looks great. Im not a history buff on wow, and it does look a bit 'off', but i know the scene from WoWd it looks very similar. How does it look it look on low graphics? (without lighting?)
Seriously? I can't find a screenshot taken from the right angle, but it looks a damn lot like Stromgarde, down to the tree on the left side. In the pictures with different lighting you see very well that there is no moat and I can feel the Minas Tirith influence there, but the whole terrain still reminds me a lot of Arathi.

That aside, here is my first terrain with it.

I'm curious to see more Nebuli. Always liked medieval fantasy terrains and I'm sure you can pull of some interesting stuff here.
Looks great! I'd love to see more as well!

Looks awesome.
Given the gloomy atmosphere it could use some more/stronger light sources.
I like Sci-fi more than fantasy, but this is an amazing terrain
I've been trying to work on another. Here's how it's looking so far.

That's Stromgarde Keep in the Arathi Highlands. Is that intentional? If so, that's a damn nice piece of work.

I've been toying with it a bit more, in particular, the façade of the keep.
Also, as per your request, here it is on low settings. (I actually think this looks surprisingly nice.)
Edit: Here is a daytime version of the terrain, without the trees.
