A thought that just came to my mind will play the role of the theme for WTE #146: "Deception". What does this mean? Simple: I want you guys to make a terrain that isn't what it seems. Whether it looks like a healthy Terran installation from one side but like a Protoss ambush from the other or whether it looks like an island from one side but a huge Zerg creature from another - it's up to you. Just make sure to include two pictures to show us your deception.

Nice! Interesting idea there. Of course everything couuld get some more polish. For example the environment area only has 2 characters, 2 trucks, few trees, few cliffs and texture play. Maybe more details to make it feels even more like kind of forest or whatever path in the wood... or maybe is it just a Vespene trade? Or a special experiment on humans... Something annoys me as well... I feel like all Labs terrain look empty, there is no like, mid terrain, it's all on sides. What about a group of tv in the middle or something... Think to something like that: http://www.avenir-plus-riche.fr/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Bourse.jpg or whatever...
Anyway, the concept is there, but it could be more polish I believe. =)
Yeah, its camouflage is pretty good but it breaks the shapes up a little too much, more varied textures would help for example differentiating the inside of the mouth. I was also a bit limited by only being able to rotate it +/- 90 deg. 'Animating' it in any way would be too time consuming, but I would have loved it to have some other poses.
The last picture is actually a pretty good guide to spotting it now that I think about it.
I saw the outline of the monster in the first picture but it wasn't blatantly obvious, and I was looking for something weird in the picture. But I like your idea it's pretty original.
If a critter had the right attachment points animating that would be pretty easy and cool. I'd enjoy seeing something like that.
