Hope you're all well - just a quickie regarding pitch and roll. I say a quickie, because I can't for the life of me figure out the commands to be able to alter a unit / doodads pitch and roll! I checked Mozared's WTE called 'Pitch and Roll' whereby he stated the button combination necessary, but this doesn't work for me, and I've been trawling through the command list trying to find the relevant one to associate buttons with it, but alas, to no fruition.
Anyone either have the name of the command line please, or any advice on how to edit the pitch and roll of the doodads without using the buttons?
You need to drag your mouse cursor in the direction that you want to adjust the pitch and roll while holding the keys. I think Ctrl+Alt is for Roll and Ctrl+Shift is for Pitch (could be the other way around, can't remember). So basically if you want to roll over a doodad to the right, hold Ctrl+Alt and then drag your mouse to the right of camera.
If you can't use the key shortcut for whatever reason, just bring up the Properties window of the doodad. You'll see the usual Position, Rotation and Scale properties. 270 degs is the default value and leaves the doodad at a neutral position. Simply set the Pitch and/or Roll values (anywhere from 0 to 360 deg) to get the rotation that you want.
By the way, you can't alter the pitch or roll of a unit without adding SiteOps to it.
Alrighty, so I've placed the doodad and the button functions don't work at all :/ Not only that, when I select the properties of the doodad, it still doesn't give me the option to alter the pitch and roll as per @sgtnoobkilla's advice.
This isn't going to be dependency related etc. at all is it?
When loading up the game, it comes up saying that the game is up to date, absolutely fine. Although when loading up the editor, it's still only reading 2.0.8. Very occasionally it will have the spinning green circle when playing, but that's very intermittent. Full game, battle.net account and everything. Any ideas?
