A tad late, but here nevertheless! This week I've got an interesting theme for you that we once had back when this WTE was rolling for WarCraft III. This week's theme will be "Atlantis". Though we've had a WTE that took place Under the Sea, the idea for this week is that you create some kind of giant ancient city underwater. Large palaces, huge gardens or big living areas, everything goes.
Yeah, cant wait to see them, i'm not going to lie I occasionally rip off a few parts of these ideas if I think they do good in an area, usually just Doodads that look great together things like that.
Was the first thing that popped into my head too. I might throw in some terran excavation stuff though, i really like having multiple 'layers' were you first add a temple and then add floodlights and platforms and all the terran stuff. We'll see.
Me aswell, sorry about that. Actually sat down twice and tried to come up with something but wasn't entirely happy with it. Will still attach screenies for those interested.
The shark does clip I just time my pictures when getting a screenshot. Also I don't do multiple angles and screenshot's since it just takes more effort to make everything look nice in all the different shots.
That could probably look a little bit more 'under water' if you added some thicker blue fog and maybe a couple of small sunrays coming in. Overall it's a really nice concept though.
Weekly Terraining Exercise #85
Hey hey!

Have fun, and enjoy your week :)

I dont feel like doing it, But this could easily be done using Tal Darim ruins under water, with nice rock and hill placement.
But I wonder what some of our other great editors will come up with, a lot of times people wow me in these.
That's the fun part. This is what I had in mind, but you'll see people suddenly come up with the strangest ideas and make them work. Should be good :D

That kind of stuff always looks darn good too. Curious to see what you'll come up with, Sheo.
Just an FYI - this isn't on the main page yet, still WTE 84

So people do use the current events window! :P
Looks like most people have been too busy to participate - myself included. Hopefully this weeks one will be better.

I'll extend this WTE for a week to give people some more chance to participate.

Yay! I will now have time for it ;} thanks.
Darn.. I was hoping for a new one. I couldn't come up with anything for this. :P
I've got a lot of free time now, finally. I'll try to come up with something epic.
It's not how I wanted it to turn out but I did enjoy making it.

Christ, that's cool. Any more screenies or close-ups?
On another note, I feel obliged to ask: does that shark in the bottom left corner clip? =P

Behold the city of Atlantis ^,^ ...

Hey,
I've been working on a map for this WTE since I have a week off before summer school, and I was wondering about two things:
a) how do you take those epic angled screenshots, and b) what is a Light Omni _(color)?
